FIELD MARSHALL SERIES 3

SPRING 2007 WEST SUSSEX

NORTH ISLAND, NEW ZEALAND This Series 3 Field Marshall was submerged in floods some 4 years ago and has laid idle since then. The Rod pictured here has removed the final drives and cleaned out all the silt as a result of the flooding and at the same time is doing some minor repairs that need to be done such as the right hand brake that was not working.

The side panel of the centre bonnet was lost in the flood. An afternoon was spent digging up the shed without any luck. Des and Rod went out the next morning with a metal detector and within 5 minutes they found it, 4 inches down, showing how much silt was deposited in the floods.
